Sketches of wedding party for sweet couple. すてきな二人に贈る結婚式のスケッチ。

Sandhya dressed up in traditional dressed and shining colourful jewels, showed us beautiful smile.

This beautiful bride had invite me to Sunil and Sandhya's engagement and wedding party, and I did some sketches of the party as a present for the sweet marriage couple. Sunil and Sandhya, originaly from Fiji , lives in Australia was celebrated from hundreds of people who came from all around the world. 

伝統的なドレスを身に纏い、色とりどりに輝く宝石がゆれるサンディアからこぼれおちた笑顔。この綺麗な新婦さんから、婚約パーティーと結婚式に招待されたわたしは、幸せな二人へのお祝いとしてパーティーの様子を描かせてもらった。いつもどうりの、早くてラフなスケッチ、素描ですが、なんとなくの雰囲気を閉じ込められるように意識して。スニルとサンディヤはもともとフィジー出身で今はオーストラリアにすんでいるのだが、この二人の門出の為に世界各地から飛んできた１００人以上の人々が集まった。

Gold, turquoise blue and crimson.  Color coordinate of the engagement party was impressive, becouse it's not the color I use to see at wedding ceremony in Japan. These colour are really suit on colourful traditional dresses on guests. Most of the guests wearing traditional dress which remind me warm air and sun shine.  Table cloth and glass were all gold and it showed beautiful contrast with blue flowers on the table. I remember the invitation card was also decorated b the blue flowers.
ターコイズブルー、金色そして真紅。なかなか日本の結婚式会場ではみられないような強い色彩が印象的。ゲストたちの身にまとう伝統的なドレスはどれも色鮮やかで、会場のカラーコーディネートと相まって太陽の光と南国の風を思わせる。テーブルクロスとグラスは金色で、中央に飾られた青い花々との対比が美しい。
